According to the police the four people arrived at the farmhouse with a hope that they would double their money with the help of black magic. Police are also looking for some other people who may have been involved in the incident. Police suspect that the four people arrived at the farmhouse with a huge amount of money, which could run into several lakhs.
Chandrakant told the police that one Ramdas Patil came to the farmhouse, which belonged to Patil's uncle Dattatray Patil, with the keys of the property. There was a plan to perform some kind of worship after which the people would be able to double their money through black magic.
The police claim to have cracked the case in which four people were killed in a Panvel farmhouse on Diwali night.
But after the worship when the money did not multiply, a fight broke out among those present following which four people were killed. It is still not clear how many people were present at the farmhouse.
While one of the victims had bullet injury, three others were allegedly bludgeoned to death in the farmhouse, which is in Shiravali village.
