पांच लाख में बेटे ने ही दी थी बाप की सुपारी

तहसील गेट पर रजिस्ट्रार कानूनगो की सनसनीखेज हत्या में हैरतअंगेज राजफाश हुआ है। रजिस्ट्रार कानूनगो के बेटे वरुण उर्फ मोंटी ने ही सतीश गिरि और सुरेंद्र राणा को पिता का कत्ल करने के लिए 5 लाख की सुपारी दी थी। सतीश गिरि और सुरेंद्र राणा की गिरफ्तारी के बाद कानूनगो के बेटे वरुण को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।
इंचौली के मसूरी गांव निवासी दीनदयाल की 22 अक्टूबर को तहसील गेट पर गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी। 31 दिसंबर को दीनदयाल रिटायर होने वाले थे। रविवार को पुलिस ने दीनदयाल की हत्या करने वाले कुख्यात बदमाश सतीश गिरि और उसके शूटर सुरेंद्र राणा को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया। एसपी सिटी आलोक प्रियदर्शी ने बताया कि पकड़े गए दोनों हत्यारोपियों से पूछताछ में सामने आया कि दीनदयाल के बेटे वरुण उर्फ मोंटी ने ही पिता की हत्या कराने के लिए पांच लाख देने तय किए थे। वरुण ने बताया कि 2014 में गढ़ थाने से सुरेंद्र राणा के साथ वाहन चोरी में जेल जा चुका है। तब से सुरेंद्र राणा और सतीश गिरि के संपर्क में था। सुरेंद्र राणा ने बताया कि पिता की हत्या करने के बाद नौकरी मिल जाएगी। साथ ही पूरा फंड और अन्य रकम का भी मालिक हो जाएगा। सुरेंद्र राणा ने कानूनगो के कत्ल के लिए पांच लाख की मांग की थी।
ढाई माह पहले रिठानी में बनी थी योजना

वरुण ने बताया कि पांच माह पहले सुरेंद्र राणा के साथ मिलकर रिठानी में हत्या की प्लानिंग की थी। हत्या वाले दिन भी ताऊ बेगराज के बेटे जगदीश ने हत्या की जानकारी दी। सुरेंद्र को ढाई माह पहले ही तहसील दिखाकर दीन दयाल के आने जाने का समय भी बता दिया था। साथ ही वाट्सएप पर दीन दयाल का फोटो भी भेज दिया था।

MEERUT: A 22-year-old man was arrested on Monday from Missoorie village for allegedly planning the murder of his father. Authorities said the accused, identified as Montu Arya, planned his father Deen Dayal Arya's murder so that he could take the latter's job. Deen Dayal Arya was a revenue inspector. Arya was shot dead on October 22 outside his office.

"We were already watching Montu. He has a criminal history. He stole vehicles with the help of Rana, his associate. Rana was arrested on Sunday for assaulting BJP corporator Rajiv Gupta Kale. During interrogation, he confessed to Dayal's murder and how Montu had promised him Rs 5 lakh. We picked up Montu who confessed to have planned the entire murder ," said Alok Priyadarshi, SP Meerut.

Priyadarshi added that both Rana and Montu were part of 'Satish Gang', which threatened traders for ransom. Soon after his father died, Montu convinced his mother of his innocence, and said the police was trying to frame him. He asked his mother to tell the cops about how a gang of robbers killed Dayal after the family failed to furnish Rs 10 lakh as ransom.

"We never believed the mother's story which is we had been keeping an eye on Montu. The arrest of his associate only cemented our doubts ," said the SP.
