Pune: Three suspects,who were arrested in the robbery case by the Khadki police,have now confessed to their involvement in the murder of a 24-year-old person.The police have recovered the decomposed body of the victim,identified as Stanley Mari of Khadakwasla,from a hillock in Kamshet on Thursday.



The suspects have been identified as Devendra alias Chakor Umakant Pille,20,Yogesh alias Lalya Baban Jadhav,18,and Daniel Robert Amanna,20,all from Khadki.The police have also detained their minor accomplice for his involvement in the murder.



According to senior inspector Vilas Gavli of the Khadki police station,a police team,led by assistant inspector Shriram Poul,had arrested the suspects over the suspicion of their involvement in a robbery.During sustained interrogation,Pille revealed that they had killed a person on April 23 at Kamshet.When we visited the spot,we found a decomposed body on a hillock, Gavli said.



Gavli said Pille had a relationship with Maris wife before her marriage.Mari,a painting labourer,lived in Khadakwasla.When he learned about his wifes relationship,he started harassing her.When Pille heard about this,he hatched a plan to eliminate Mari.On April 23,Pille called Mari for some work and took him to Kamshet along with his accomplices.On reaching Kamshet,they had beer.Later,they killed him, Gavli said.
