In a shocking incident, 31-year-old Ankit Garg, a teacher in Delhi, was shot dead in broad daylight by a masked gunman in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area. Garg was reportedly in a relationship with his student, a Muslim girl, and while they wanted to get married, the girl’s family was opposing the same. According to police, Ankit was shot at by a gunman who was waiting for him for 25 minutes at the staircase of the coaching centre where he used to teach.
