KANPUR: In yet another shocking incident, a young woman, aged around 30, was found lying unconscious in a van under mysterious circumstances near Fattepur village in Maharajpur police area here on Friday.



The woman identified as Renu wife of Tarun Mishra, a resident of Triveni nagar Rail Bazar area and a teacher by profession had deep injury marks on her body including neck, which suggested that she was severely attacked with a sharp-edged weapon. Her hands were tied with a 'dupatta' and a kitchen knife was also recovered from the four-wheeler. She has been admitted to a nearby Hospital in a critical condition. Though she is stable, she is not in a position to speak. The police is relying on her statement to ascertain information about the incident.

Woman principal attacked

A woman principal has been allegedly attacked by some unidentified persons with sharp edged weapons in Maharajpur area of the district.



Renu (30), principal of Fatehpurva Primary School, was attacked by few persons, when she was returning to her residence in a car yesterday, a police spokesman said.



According to police, the culprits intercepted Renu’s car near Gauria village, tied her hands with a rope and thereafter tried to slit her neck with a sharp edged weapon.



The police team had admitted Renu to a hospital.



Prime facie she was attacked by someone known to her, as they did not loot the car, cash or mobile belonging to her.

महिला प्रिंसीपल पर जानलेवा हमला

शहर के ग्रामीण इलाके महाराजपुर में स्कूल से लौट रही प्राइमरी स्कूल की एक महिला प्रिंसीपल को उनकी कार में कुछ अज्ञात लोगों ने गला रेत कर घायल कर दिया और बाद में कार को एक सुनसान जगह पर छोड़ दिया।



पुलिस प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि फत्तेपुरवा प्राइमरी स्कूल की प्रिंसीपल रेनू अपने स्कूल से कार से वापस लौट रही थी कि अचानक कुछ लोगों ने उस पर हमला कर दिया।



महाराजपुर पुलिस को गौरियां गांव के लोगों ने सूचना दी कि गांव के बाहर सुनसान जगह पर एक कार काफी देर से खड़ी है और उसमें एक महिला घायल अवस्था में पड़ी है। पुलिस ने गाड़ी में मिले कागजों के आधार पर महिला की शिनाख्त की।
